Extra Deep Clean Checklist
Our Extra Deep Clean service offers a thorough, top-to-bottom cleaning for homes that haven't been deep cleaned in the last 6 months and are not on a regular maintenance schedule. We focus on meticulously cleaning every room, following a detailed checklist. Our priority is to ensure your home is thoroughly cleaned, and additional tasks depend on the home's condition and the time available.
Kitchen
1. General Cleaning
- Dust/wipe surfaces, light fixtures (within reach)
- Clean/disinfect switches, handles, baseboards
2. Appliances
- Clean exterior of fridge/oven
- Clean/disinfect stovetop, burners, knobs
- Clean/disinfect microwave inside/out
- Wipe small appliances (toaster, coffee maker, etc.)
3. Cabinets and Drawers
- Clean/disinfect outside of cabinets and drawers
4. Sink and Countertops
- Clean/disinfect sink, faucet, handles, countertops
5. Floors
- Sweep/mop kitchen floor
6. Trash
- Empty/disinfect trash cans
Bathroom
1. General Cleaning
- Dust and wipe surfaces, light fixtures (within reach)
- Clean/disinfect switches, handles, baseboards
2. Shower/Bathtub
- Remove soap scum, mildew from tiles and grout
- Clean/disinfect showerhead, faucets, and bathtub
3. Toilet
- Clean/disinfect toilet bowl, seat, lid, base, and handle
4. Sink and Countertops
- Clean/disinfect sink, faucet, handles, countertops
5. Mirrors and Glass
- Clean mirrors and glass surfaces
6. Floors
- Sweep/mop floors,
7. Trash
- Empty and disinfect trash cans
Living Room/Common Areas
1. General Cleaning
- Dust and wipe surfaces, light fixtures (within reach)
- Clean/disinfect switches, handles, and baseboards
2. Furniture
- Dust and polish furniture surfaces
3. Floors and Carpets
- Vacuum and/or mop floors, focusing on corners and edges
4. Windows and Glass
- Clean windows and windowsills
- Clean mirrors and glass surfaces until streak-free
5. Shelves and Decor
- Dust and clean shelves and decorative items
- Organize and tidy up clutter
6. Trash
- Empty and disinfect trash cans
Bedrooms
1. General Cleaning
- Dust/wipe surfaces, light fixtures (within reach)
- Clean/disinfect switches, handles, and baseboards
2. Furniture
- Dust and polish furniture surfaces
3. Bed and Bedding
- Change bed linens and make the bed
- Dust/clean bed frame and headboard
4. Floors and Carpets
- Vacuum/ mop floors
5. Windows and Glass
- Clean windows and windowsills
- Clean mirrors and glass surfaces
6. Shelves and Decor
- Dust and clean shelves and decorative items
- Organize and tidy up clutter
7. Trash
- Empty and disinfect trash cans
Additional Tasks
Cleaning inside a fridge or oven is only possible if time allows and is dependent on the condition of the home and is not charged as an add-on service. If the home is exceptionally dirtty in bathrooms, kitchens, or areas with pet dander—we may not have time to perform these additional tasks. Our main focus is to complete the comprehensive checklist for the Extra Deep Clean. If the home is empty, we can also clean inside kitchen cabinets and is also dependent on the condition of the home.
